Asisat Lamina Oshoala, (MON) commonly known as Asisat Oshoala (born October 9, 1994) is a Nigerian Professional Female Footballer. She plays as a striker in FC Barcelona Femen in the Primera División and is the captain of the Nigeria Women’s National Team.
Asisat is the most decorated African Female Footballer in history and a co-record five-time African Women’s Footballer of the Year. She is widely regarded as one of the greatest female footballers of all time and one of the best in the Africa.

Career
Asisat Oshoala first took up football in her secondary school. Asisat Oshoala’s parents at first communicated shock at their little girl’s advantage in football since she was brought up in a Muslim family. She had her primary and secondary education at the Airforce Primary School and the Aunty Ayo International School in Lagos State.
She started her career at the Nigerian lower division group, FC Robo after finishing her secondary education. She played there from 2009 to 2013 preceding moving to Rivers Angels.
She was the top scorer with seven goals when she represented his nation at the 2014 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Canada. She was awarded the Player of the Tournament. Her effort guided Nigeria to a second-place finish in the competition.
